Ok, I booked my room at Hojo using the Ent rate and then I out my card in a "safe place" problem is, I can't remember where that "safe place" is. :( What to do, what to do? Do you think Hojo will still honor the rate if I have my copy of the receipt for ordering the book? Yikes!!!!

FWIW, last year I booked the Entertainment Retro Rate and they never asked to see my card. That doesn't mean they wouldn't, though.

we've stayed at hojo several times using the retro rate, they asked to see the Entertainment Card at check in each time.

you could call hojo and ask about using the receipt or you can buy another Entertainment Card on ebay, you can usually get them for $1 or $2 dollars.

I just got my entertainment book for my trip next week and was wondering if I need to register the card or do I just have to show it to use it for the coupons and the Hojo rate. Also wondering what coupons I can get use out of without needing a car? (it's the Orange County book). I'm not that familar with the area so I'm not sure if certain coupons are for the Disneyland location - ex. Dennys,Subway, Burger King, etc.? Thanks

Same here, they did not ask to see mine, but I would go with I'm Mikey's suggestion and get another on ebay. I got mine for $1.25 and it arrived very quickly.

Sending good vibes your way!!!

Two summers ago, I did the same thing as you....put an important travel card "somewhere safe" and then couldn't find it when it was time to travel. I found it a few months later in the pocket of a leather notebook which I had designated as our travel notebook. Only problem is, I had forgotten about that designation LOL!! So, I'm writing this here now hoping it will jog your memory. :rotfl:

Thanks guys, we are leaving Saturday, afraid that is not enough time to order one online. I think I will try and call the hotel if it does not turn up.
Carrie in Az - Lol. I thought I put it with the ticket confirmation, that would make sense, right? I will keep looking....... :confused3

Does this book have any coupons for the DTD restaraunts? What about In & Out, Mimi's?

Unfortunately if they ask and you do not have it they will charge you the full rate. We used it many times and each time we had to show it. I would definitely use a buy it now on eBay and let the seller know how quickly you need it, you can even have it delivered to the HoJo if you needed to. Good luck!!

I've got one if you want it, just PM me your address.

We have always been asked to present ours--I think that is the norm. We always buy ours on ebay for about 1.00. You could ask a seller to overnight it to you (paying extra for shipping).

I'd go buy a book locally or get a card from a friend-$20 is a small price to pay to avoid the risk and anxiety of not having it.

Thanks guys for the advice and I agree. I actually have a friend who has one, (whew!) I am going to borrow hers. Better safe than sorry especially when talking about that much of a savings.
;)

Don't forget to go online with your Entertainment Cards and print out your 10% off Tony Roma's and your 15% off Rainforest Cafe printable coupons, BUT it is valid only for 14 days from the time you print it.

Yea! I actually had to do this once as well. Had bought the book, but misplaced the card when I needed it and had to borrow one (this year, I'm the opposite. I have the card, but have misplaced the book!)

It’s great to hear that your friend has a card you can borrow! We normally do ask to see the card or the book at check in, either one will do. The retro rate is such a good deal that we need proof that you have it :)
