What is an entertainment book, how much, and where do you get it????

The Entertainment Book is a book filled with discounts for restaurants, hotels, stores, movies, etc. It is sold as a fund raiser by schools and many charitable organizations. You can also order them on line at www.entertainment.com
It pays to get the book for your local area. The hotels listed are the same in ALL the books. If you get your local book, you can use all the discounts available in your area.
The website doesn't list all the discounts that are available in the actual book.

I found the Orlando entertainment book for 2003 on sale. Does anyone know if the Universal Hotels are in the book and what the savings would be?

I just received my 2003 Entertainment book last week and Universal's Portofino and Hard Rock are listed. Call 1-800-232-7827 and ask what the entertainment rate is. It could also be available at their 3rd resort. There's a lot of restaurant/fast food savings as well as activities outside the theme parks - mini golf, wonder works, etc. Arabian Nights dinner show has 3 $15.00 off coupons that more than pay for the book if it is in your plans.

Please forgive me for not understanding this.... if you have your entertainment book for Orlando can you tell me what the entertaiment rate is? Who am I calling to get the rate? SORRY I am so slow !

The phone number I posted is the reservation number for the universal resorts that is listed in the entertainment book. You will save 50% off of rack rates but rack rates are always very high - call them and they will be able to tell you the rate at the resort of your choice. Having the membership card from any valid ent. book entitles you to the discounts. However, it is well worth buying to save on meals and other activities. I received mine with 1 week of placing the order - and that was shipped to Calgary, Alberta.

The Entertainment book is well worth the $25 or $30 (depending on your area).

I just called today for two weeks from now and got the Portofino 50% off!
