Hello there. . . . Has anyone in the past purchased the Orlando area Entertainment Book when going to DisneyWorld? Is there enough on site coupons to make it worth the purchase? I know there is a Buy on get one for the Ghirardelli soda fountain at Downtown Disney. But are there more? Thanks ::MickeyMo ::MinnieMo ::MickeyMo

Dont forget, if there is a coupon for a restaurant that is also at your home town, you can use it there. There not only for Orlando. I know some people take their book from their hometown.

Most Restaurants are only good for 1 time...so if you dont use the Applebee's in Orlando use it at home (not even sure if Applebee's is on there!)

I've found the best use of the Entertainment card is for the hotel rates, they are some of the best discounts around. I've also used the Movies coupon and Pizza ones. This year we are also trying to see what we can do with the rental car coupons. HTH!

You can preview the coupons available on their website www.entertainment.com
The Mousesavers site recommends doing an online membership right before your trip. This way you can print out the coupons you want for Orlando and then cancel the membership. I believe the cost is around $3 to $4 per month.

I purchased the entertainment book and would never do it again. The restaurant coupons are only good at certain locations most of which are in Orlando. The car rental codes didn't seem to save you money and in most cases the price using the codes was more than without. I haven't used one coupon yet and I don't think I will recover the cost of the book.

I have to agree with Cathymailme about the coupons, I don't know if I would ever subscribe to just use the coupons just for Orlando, for the use of coupons you should order for your own State. My favorite use of the card is for the the hotel discounts. I've used the card at Hard Rock Hotel 2 years ago (got a $109 rate from $169), Royal Pacific (a year ago $129 from $169) and now for Aug/Sept. 2004 at the Holiday Inn Family Suites a Queen KidsSuites that sleeps 6, for $76 from $152 (50% discount). FYI, I just ordered my book and it has already paid for itself, they have a special going with free shipping and it totaled $20, so it actually paid for 3 books with a $76 saving on the room rate and thats without using a single coupon. HTH

I also just bought the Orlando book. The main savings are for the hotels also. Saved us $30 per night X four nights at Royal Pacific. Anything over the $100 there is all bonus.

I have a local NJ Entertainment book and will bring the CARD with me on our trip. I've searched the Orlando offers, and there are several restaurants in the Fine Dining area that look promising. Can anyone tell me if all of the following restaurants offers use the card, (or if they require a coupon):
Arthurs (in Wyndham Palace),
Giraffe Cafe (Hotel Royal Plaza),
Baskervilles (Grosvenor), T
rader Island (WDW Best Western on Hotel Plaza Blvd),
Cafe in the Court,
Coney Island Seafood + Lobster Feast
Outback (Buena Vista Dr)
