entertainment book deals?

i am getting the entertainment rate at hojo for our trip. i know there are several travel savings with the book and even saw some on car rentals and flights. i get a good car rental discount with USAA though and was wondering has anyone used any of their other travel discounts? cars, planes, ect? how much did you save? thanks

I haven't used any of the flight discounts (we fly JetBlue and Southwest) so I can't say about those, but I have used a couple coupons for the car rentals. You can go to the websites and enter in your info to see what comes up the best deal with the coupons and the ENT card discount to see the price differences. I found that the Hertz ones were the best for us every time while flying into LGB. If you are looking for a smoking hot deal on car rentals try naming your own price on Priceline... We usually go with them now and have saved much more than the ENT card or AAA has saved us... Well, except for this summer, it seems to be quite high to rent a car anywhere Good luck!

I see you are from Illinois ... I have used the American Airlines 5 percent off code from the ENT book. I saved almost $50 because I had three tickets from Phoenix to Cleveland to buy. I don't usually fly American, but they were the cheapest on that route at the time, so I added the ENT discount. It was very simple: ENT website for the code, book your flights like you normally would, and use the code as a promo code.

I have used the ENT rates for cars several times with good results (especially Alamo for some reason), but I've found the best car codes lately using frequent-flyer forums, like flyertalk dot com.

Good luck -- it seems like doing an hour's worth of homework can really pay off (at least that's what I tell myself I'm doing here ... "research")
