Our family of 5 (my daughter is 12 and sons are 10 & 7) is going to spend a long weekend at Port Orleans Riverside in October. We are going to do the waterparks and MNSSHP. I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for what we could do at night. We just want an entertaining dinner..doesn't have to a character dinner-not that we are opposed to that...just something fun we've never done before.
Thanks in advance for your help!!

Have you tried the Hoop-De-Do Revue? :woohoo: Last year my kids were 11 & 16 and we had a blast. The teenager even smiled, so it must have been fun! (he's always just too cool for the likes of US!)

Whispering Canyon Cafe and 50's PTC are our favorites for non-character, entertaining restaurants. At 50's you kind of have to be into it for the most fun, and a lot will depend on your server. Sci-Fi has some fun, cheezy movies, but the food is so-so.

Consider the Trails End Buffet, Campfire Singalong and Movie at Ft. Wilderness. You'll only pay for the buffet and you can buy smore packets to use at the campfire.

thanks for your suggestions. Anyone have anything else to add??
What exactly is the Hoop dee do revue?

Biergarten is fun with the show and the belly dancer at Marakesh is good too. Maybe even Coral Reef, the kids would definately be entertained with the aquarium.

'Ohana and Whispering Canyon Cafe are 2 entertaining restaurants that come to mind.
