entering toontown from train station?

i want to take the train from frontierland over to toontown in the morning.

does it stop at toontown before 10 a.m. even though toontown isn't open until 10?

if so, is there a rope at that end like there is on the other end in Fantasyland or can you walk around waiting for the attractions to open?

Yes the train does stop there.. and yes there is a rope. the furthest you can get it into the little playground. the entire area is closed until 10... however, if you get there at that time you get to see the characters all come out and take the kids hands as Toontown opens and lead them to the different attractions. It is really great to do if you have never done it before!

thanks kathy.....good to know that the train will drop off there before 10 & that there's a rope drop there as well.

i have 2 DDs, ages 2 & 4....just to clarify.....so will the characters come to that rope drop near the train station to take kids by the hand as well as the other rope drop in fantasyland?

Yes. The characters go to both ropes.

Im 21 years old and going with my sister any boyfriend to Disney. I really wantto see what its like at a rope drop at Toontown. Is it wrong for me to want to have a character grab my hand and explore toontown a bit? I feel likean absolute 5 year old and LOVE LOVE LOVE characters.
