entering EpCot am from Boardwalk hotel - where are ticks scanned?

I was assuming that when entering WS to walk to FW from Boardwalk hotel that our park tickets are scanned at Intl Gateway
Just read something that makes me think we need to get scanned at FW entrance
Sooo which is it?

Tickets are scanned at the International Gateway.

Yep they have about three scanning lines at the international gateway- much easier than the front.

International gateway is the best way to get into and out of Epcot. That is one of the main reasons we like staying at YC or BC. It is just like the front excess no crowds.

Just to agree with everyone else, and to tell you that we went through the International Gateway practically every day on our January trip. Also, it's a much prettier way to enter Epcot, in my opinion, now that they have that ugly graveyard in FW.
