Entering credit card info for reservations

Hi all, I've seen that credit card info must be entered for making ADRs. Does it have to be done for each reservation? If so, wouldn't lots of possible openings get taken with all the time spent entering info?

MDE saves, or has the ability to save, your card number. When making multiple reservations, I only have to add in my telephone number each time. It is very quick.

It saves your cc if you select that option - also should save phone # too. I've never had to do more than click next and confirm to get reservations

Hmm my phone number is not saved. I will have to see if I can find somewher to save that in MDE so I don't have to type it each time.

I have to enter my phone # when using the app. It's already there when I use my computer.

I don't think I've ever used the app but if you go through the reg web you can save it

Ya it's saved already through the website but I still have to re enter it when using the app. Oh well! It only takes a second or two.

I tried booking a random ADR in the app after saving my phone number and it was there even in the app so I don't know why it makes you guys type it in. Disney technology...

I don't think so. I don't really like using the app to book ADRs but sometimes that's my only option and I did have one time where it worked better than the website. I don't like how if you try to book a reservation for a time when it overlaps it makes you cancel just like the website but the website doesn't cancel your current ADR until the new one is confirmed well the app cancels it before the other one is confirmed so you have to be quick and hope that no one else grabs it while the app is canceling otherwise you could end up losing both.

I find it faster only because I get my alerts from Disney Buddy on my phone so I log into the app right away. But come to think if it, even when I click on the link that Buddy gives me I still have to enter my phone number and that's the website, not the app. Maybe it's because it's the mobile version of the website? I didn't have to enter it when I originally booked my ADRs on my computer though. Who knows? Hopefully after BOG breakfast I'm done with ADRs anyway!!!

Sometimes my laptop is going too slow for my liking so I carry my (searching) laptop to the office to see if the desktop will go faster and then whichever one gets it pulled up first wins Hopefully, after BOG breakfast opens (tonight please, hint hint Disney) I can grab the rest of the breakfasts I'm looking for and be done too. Oh wait that's a lie because I'm still waiting on that darn Minnie Holiday dinner at H&V.
