That's much closer to how the real file looks when it is printed out. A little itsy bitsy bit darker but not much. Everything looks much clearer and lighter printed out. For some reason, this picture just looks better printed than online.

That looks very much like how it prints. I'm not sure why because I use the same file that I posted here when I do print copies of it, but they always come out like the one you posted.

that's kind of odd, but as long as you get the print you want I guess it all works out...

I think it has more to do with the setting on my computer for brightness. Also, this file is edited becuase it was cut down to 20% of it's original size, but when I print I use the big file. I don't know. I'm just going to leave it alone. You're right,as long as it comes out the way I want when it prints.

Well, I'm no photographer so I never even noticed the house in the background of After the Rain but that's the one I voted for.

I found it online and read the rules, the reason I asked about the fine print, I always advise people to make sure they have,,

I've seen photo contests with a hidden clause regarding ,
photo rights, in which the winner must sign over the negatives and all rights for the winning photo and any other photos from the same body of work.,,so basically if you shot 50 pictures of Monty on the train they expect the rights to all of these photos, if you should at some time sell or enter another similar photo in a contest they claim you broke the agreement and you must return the prize money or they sue for using their photo..

Yup. It looks like they just reserve the right to print it and I have to give them the file if they ask.

I doubt very much that I will ever be selling these pics.

I'm just entering the contest for fun, and to see if I stand a chance at winning.
