Entering a photo contest! Help me choose...

Hi all. I am entering a photo contest.

The following are my narrowed down choices for entry. Can you all help me pick?

I am allowed to enter 3 pictures. I can only win once, in one of 7 categories (the usual- nature, animals, people etc.) The actual pictures are in huge files so they do look a lot better in real life than they do here...

Sooooo....

1. Monty Dog Rides the Rails

2.Flowers & Leaves

3.Perfect Sky

4.Watcher in the Woods

5.After the Rain

How to choose?! They are all great photos! Monty, of course, because he's Monty riding a train...the flowers and leaves are so striking color/contrast wise...then the rainbow is so inspirational looking....watcher in the woods is eerie almost (but ooh so cool)...and then after the rain is beautiful for its color and capture of the raindrops...

I use a digital. It's a Kodak DX6340. Pretty basic digital camera.

I like "Monty Dog Rides the Rails." It tells a story.

Hard to choose, they are all wonderful. But I think I would go with Watcher in the Woods, with Monty Dog a VERY close second.

Hey! Monty Dog Rides the Rails is a chapter that should be in your book, remember?!

I like that one (of course, but I'm biased ) and Flowers and Leaves, because it has such a great contrast.

I think I have a pretty good idea which 3 will make it into the contest...but, I won't decide for certain till tomorrow...

Well, I think by now you know exactly which ONE I like best E. (Monty, I love your furry little face!) - but they are all such good pictures. I do like the Perfect Sky. It looks like a postcard.

I voted for "Watcher in the Woods" because it was something different. Although the others are all terrific, I kept thinking about how many other pictures of cute dogs and pretty flowers/scenery would be entered in the contest. JMO

Oh, Sheri, you are so talented! I'm having such a hard time choosing as you know how I love Monty so! I keep getting drawn back to Watcher In the Woods, though. It's as if something's out there calling--wanting you to take a chance and come see... I think I'm going with WITW. But you just need to send in some of Monty's pics to Dog Fancy--they'd LOVE him! And I'll be able to say I knew Monty way back when......

That is a good point.

Right now it's looking like I will enter : Watcher in the Woods, Monty Rides the Rails and Flowers & Leaves...

It was a really tough choice! They are all such great pictures. We all decided that we liked the contrast of the flowers and leaves! DH and DD3 helped make this decision! Of course who could resist Monty! He's just so cute!

I vote for 1, 4 and 5. They are all very nice, but those are my top three. Although the rainbow is beautiful and serene, it is run of the mill, a photo (similar) to one I have seen many time. Absolutely love the dog on the train! You really do have a talent.
