Yes I ski but even if I didn't I just love the winter it is my favourite time of year.

Down with spring well atleast down with summer. The perfect seasons would run like this.

Winter= Oct- end of May
spring= June and half of July
summer= half July and Aug
fall=Sept

That would be the ideal season lengths for me.

That's almost exactly what we usually have in northern Alberta...winter usually ends late April though instead of your desired May.

My personal favourite season is autumn and it usually only lasts about 3 weeks...I love a white Christmas but a white Halloween is just wrong

I hear yah! I hate the winter, and the snow and the boots and the winter coats and winter stuff all over my house!! I want to move to Florida, or at least somewhere warmer!!!!

I went & jinxed myself the other day! Said I could deal with "moderate" winds & what happens??? Miss my transfer bus home & end up walking home AGAINST a cold strong wind home!

On the amusing side, my dog has taken up a new hobby - "hunting" through the drifts for the icicles that have fallen off our eaves! Has been annoyed with them since it was warm the other day & one kept dripping on his head - but did he move? Nope.

Atleast you get snow in London we hardly get any snow nowadays I miss the days when we got 3 or more feet of the white stuff I remember in the late 70's and 80's when we would get copious ammounts of it now we are lucky to see a foot or more accumulation at any given time.
