Enough with the rain already!

Oh, I am so tired of all this rain! Here in Northern CA it has been raining for what seems like forever! I am leaving for DL in 3 days and wouldn't you know it, it is supposed to rain Monday and Tuesday in Anaheim! I just can't get away from it! I was hoping for some nice SoCal weatehr! Oh well, hopfully the rain will keep people away!

We're leaving in two days from the Sacto area and noticed there would be rain down south as well. However, I love rain. (especially when it clears out the parks)

We leave in just about 10 hours from MA, and I'm a little disappointed that the weather here at home looks like it's going to be nicer than at DL!! BUT, I am hoping the rain at DL will keep crowds down!!!

Do you remember the song "It Never Rains in Southern California?" I think it was by Tony, Toni, Tone? I think they lied

I really can't complain though, being that we will be at Disneyland!!

Now I know why I booked for 7 nights! It looks like it is suppose to clear up after tuesday! Whoopie! I leave in 24 hours!

I´m so glad it´s supposed to clear up. The weather was one of the reasons why we decided to go to California, at not just somewhere in Europe. I couldn´t stand it if it would rain while we´re at Disneland. We will be there next friday!

You should try living in England!!!!....lol. We get more rain in a day than Anaheim has in a month!!
Seriously though, I hope it clears for you as we were at WDW last July (nobody told us it was rainy season when we booked!!) and it rained just about every day and it was awful, we hated it.

It's been the usual wet, drizzly winter here in Seattle, with occasional sunny or partially sunny days to tease us. You know it's a good day when it's dark, dreary and overcast and you tell the kids, "Look! It's not raining!!!"

The crocuses blooming is always a mood-lifter for me, a sign that the days are getting longer and the sun really will come back soon. The crocuses are now gone, daffodils are out in full force, and the tulip festival is right around the corner, YAY SPRING!

I know what you mean about the rain and grey skys. I live near Sacramento also and I am SICK of this weather. I used to live in Washington state and I had a real hard time getting used to the constant GREY and rain coming from CA but these last few years I feel like I am back in WA LOL.

I am SO ready for nice weather!! My daughter's birthday is April 27th and we want to have an outdoor birthday and normally that would NOT be a problem but I am holding off this year cuz you just don't know anymore!

Have fun everyone who is going. Our next trip isn't till June!

I don't mean to burst anyones bubble.. But for once it is warmer here in Western New York than in So. California! Whoopie! 72 Degrees..


The rain usually doesn't last long. And hopefully it will rain while everyone is sleeping..

Rapunsel, I had bad thoughts reading your post about sunny and 72F...just for a moment, though.

We're currently at 56F with sunbreaks. (I've been told by a guy from Utah that weather forecasts in the rest of the country don't talk about 'sunbreaks', so for the uninitiated, it means cloudy with the sun occasionally peeking through.) DS1 and I took a lovely walk, he in a GAP sweatshirt and me just in a longsleeve t-shirt. Beautiful!

And yes, we WILL hit the pool at the Disneyland Hotel unless it's below 60! (We'll be the pasty-looking family.)

There were a few teen girls in line behind us at Haunted Mansion when it started to rain a bit. They started worrying about their hair getting wet. Then it POURED down rain. Then they said, well, since we are soaked, let's go on Splash. So much for the rain keeping the teens away.

It's pouring outside right now in San Jose..........I am keeping my fingers crossed that when we arrive on the 17th it will be SUN, SUN, SUN!!

I am headed to Sacramento on the 7th with our 4th grade and hoping it will be semi decent then.....They are having us walk between places we are visiting and I think lunch is planned for outside!

It must be a California history field trip? Sutter's fort and history museum? It should be fun! My daughter's classes both spent the night at Sutter's Fort and loved it.

This is so disappointing! I leave tomorrow morning, Monday and Tuesday were supposed to be our main park days. I just moved to WA a year ago and the main reason I've been looking forward to this trip was to see the sun It's so dreary here. I can't believe the forecast changed that fast, I've been packing a little bit all week and the last time I checked it said high of 70 and sunny all week
