I posted this in restaurants, but thought I might get more responses over here.
Akershus has breakfast listed until 11:10, with lunch starting at 11:55. So, if you get an 11:00 res., when will they stop serving, remove things from the cold bar to prepare for lunch? DD has a 9:00 at BBB in DD. I will be driving. Could I realistically make an 11 res.? Will they seat my dh and ds at 11 if my dd and I are running a few minutes late or does the entire party have to be there to be seated? Thanks for the help!

1. It will be in a process of removal and restocking, (slow change-over) even as morning guests are finishing up.

2. Yes.

3. Maybe. Depends on the CM in charge. (But, you should make it OK.)

4. That's preferred.

At the Disney restaurants they will not seat you until your entire party is there. In many places, especially the busier ones, they will not even let you check in until everyone has arrived. Because the photo op with Belle occurs right after check I would assume that at Akershus everyone has to be there before the CMs at the podium will check you in.

Also, many of the restaurants are fully booked so if they seat partial groups it prolongs the amount of time the party will be at the table, causing even longer waits for those checking in afterwards.

Except for the times when they will.

Depends on the situation and who is in charge at the time.

Thanks, that helps. I already have a 5:00 dinner resv. and was considering switching to breakfast because then the whole princess experience would be done in one swoop, but it sounds like I am better off to just keep the dinner plans. Thanks for the input.

Really? At the restaurants we've dined at they always ask anyone checking in if everyone is there and will wait until the whole party is present before seating them.
