I currently have AK and BB in the same day. However, I was thinking since MK opens later than AK maybe I should do BB and MK on the same day instead? We are two adults and there are a handful of rides at MK we would like to see (Stitch, Small World, Pirates, Haunted Mansion, etc), and shows/parades Spectro, Wishes, Cinderellabration. I guess at AK I would like to do the safari a few times, Lion King, Dinosaur, Tough to be Bug, The Trails, River Rapids, and a few other things. I was thinking the water park will take about what 3 hours? Then transporation time and changing clothes I'll estimate 2 hours for that. We won't get to a park until 3PM anyways. On one day AK has evening EMH (I guess until 8PM) but MK is open until at least 9PM or 10PM (when we go in mid-May).

What do you guys think? I know people say MK takes a day but I was thinking a day meant from 9AM to 9PM straight, not leaving the park for 4 hours to nap and relax. So I was thinking it takes 12 hours to get through it. :bitelip: When really most people seem to spend only about 6-8 actual real hours per day there.

Here is what I would do.....

Be at MK when they open, do the big things you want to do to avoid the lines later, then head over to BB then come back to the MK after you are done! If you do things right, you should and could be out of the MK by 11-12ish and to BB by 1 at the latest, which would give you at least 4 hours of water time! Then you could spend the rest of the evening at MK doing what you didn't do and staying till it closes! I did something similar this sunday. We were at MK when it opened, did the big things and left at 11:30, then went over to EPCOT to do the things we wanted to do, and came back to the MK about 6:30 and stayed until it closed. It worked out really well. It would work for you too as long as you are organized. Just a thought! I wouldn't do AK as the time there is limited and MK is open 12 hours or more and you can always go back!

We are staying at Caribbean Beach which is really far from MK. I was thinking about going in the morning, go to water park, then go back to MK... but with transporation time I was worried it would take too long. I've heard with waiting for bus and riding time about 1 hour...

I'm worried after the water park I'll need to condition my hair - it gets frizzy and tangled very easily. If I have to go back to the hotel it will take more time. Unless any ladies have tips? Or I could just leave it . And do people just wear their wet bathing suits back to the park? Sorry maybe it's just me worrying too much :)
