enough time to do both parks-need help!

hello

this will be my first trip to universal- though i have been to disney many times
i will have 5 days to visit both universal parks & am staying on site

i really would like a relaxing vacation for a change- comando style gets old real quick

having the fotl privilige - will this help avoid long waits even if i choose not to arrive to the park until 11am?
will 5 days be enough time to see everything at both universal parks?

any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated

You will have a wonderful, relaxing time. Which hotel are you staying at? All are beautiful and distinct from each other. With five days and FOTL you will be able to enjoy the best that Universal has to offer. Have fun!

I was there for the first time ever in early November for 5 days. By the third day I had done everything I wanted at a leisurely pace and if the weather had been better would have spent a bunch of time in the pool at HRH....as it was, I ended up just doing stuff over again. At that point I almost wished I'd only had 4 days. You'll have plenty of relaxation time.

You can always take the shuttle bus over to Sea World if you feel you need to do more.

We went for a commando run in October and are doing just what you are now, planning a five day trip. This will be plenty of time, especially with FOTL. We are planning a day for Seaworld also and some pool time. I think five days should be perfect for a trip with relaxation.
