Hubby and I love WDW and have been 31 times. We also love cruising but have never cruised with DCL.

It's just the two of us, no children. We are "older" adults.

Is there enough to keep 2 adults busy? Any suggestions on which ship we should cruise on?

Thanks for your input!

Hubby and I went on a spur of the moment cruise 3 day in March because it was going to be about the same cost as a WDW weekend away. We were at a table with 3 other couples that were all traveling without kids, clearly there's a few Older Disney lovers out there. We weren't bored at all and have a list of things we'd like to do on our upcoming 4 day (we booked another cruise while on this past one). For instance, Hubby liked doing the midship detective agency and wants to do another storyline on our next cruise. Don't shy away from non adult only activities if they catch your fancy, they can end up being fun too.

You will love it! Just be mindful that children are in 95% of the places onboard. The adult area is amazing though and even with two children myself it was nice to slip away there now and then.

Have you considered another cruise line. I would. With dcl the price of the kids clubs, character new and greets etc. is in your fare.

We have done 4 DCL cruises on our own. Always plenty to do an enough adult areas to enjoy the quiet. We enjoy the parties and activities, watching te kids and will often wonder to one of the clubs for a drink or two and then walk around the decks before heading to our bunk. lots of day classes, the spa, and just enjoying satellite falls on the Dream class and the upper decks on the classics.

You will have a wonderful cruise........enjoy!

No problem, I'm sure you will love it. 50 and no kids here, and we love DCL, we've been on 12 cruises on all DCL ships. The Fantasy is easily our favorite, Wonder least favorite. Being on a DCL cruise with no kids is just freedom! After a bottle of wine, other people's kids become no problem at all!

late 20s and no kids. My fiance and I have taken 4 Disney Cruises together and always find enough to do. There are adults only areas as well as adults only shows and get togethers. We went to several of the adult game shows and variety shows. Some trivia is also adults only. We spend time at the spa as well and eat in the adults only restaurants for at least 2 meals.

In port we do our own thing if we are familiar with the port or we book something that we think will have less families on it.

Upper 50's been on 16 DCL cruises, many with just the 2 of us.

It's kind of become our vacation of choice. Just visited disneyland a few weeks ago - WOW way to crowded!!

Enough to keep you busy? Depends upon what you like to do.
On sea days we will walk 2-3 miles on deck 4 around the outside of the ship, will spend a few hours up in the pool decks, reading, relaxing and enjoying doing nothing for a while. On shore days we are on an excursion of some sort (if Caribbean, then snorkeling, Alaska, going to glaciers, hiking, whale watching, etc, if Europe, site seeing...)
We're not "drinkers" and have never participated in a mixology class, nor have we participated in BINGO.
We do go to many trivia challenges (hit the Disney ones, skip the 80's and 90's music ones since we wouldn't have clue as to what/who they are talking about)
There are usually "talks", "cooking demos", Towel / Napkin folding, drawing "classes"
Movies in the theaters (only made it to movies 2 or 3 times during the daytime on our 110+ nights onboard - there's other things to do)
Live entertainment in several bars / venues (Clara Oman, primarily on the Magic has become a favorite!!)

and that doesn't include the nightly main shows in the Walt Disney Theater, in the "Adult" entertainment district.

If you are Spa people there's a spa on each ship.

For us the hardest thing about a Disney Cruise is deciding what NOT to do!!
