Hello!

I took some photo's over the weekend for a friend of mine.

Basically, I thought I was doing Christmas card photo's...when we were done with those, she asked me to take some outside. No problem except, she loves one of the ones outside, and she'd like it blown up to a 16X24. There is a rather large sun glare on one of the girls forehead.

My question is, if this particular photo is blown up, will the sun glare be worse? Or the same??

Although I do have photo shop, I have NO idea how to use it. I know I can layer/clone...etc, except I don't know HOW to...lol!!!

Thank you in advance for any advice or simple answer to my question!! :wizard:

People on this board have been known to offer simple photoshop help to people who ask real nice. If you post a full size copy of your photo, I'm sure some photoshop gurus could fix the glare and enlarge the photo for you.

I'd be happy to give it a shot.
If you can make a full sized version of that photo available it would be a trivial matter to remove the glare.
In fact I think the upload/download would take longer than the fix.

I don't want to speak for anyone else, but folks are so helpful around here that I'm sure they will take care of you if they get to your post before I do.

If you want to try it yourself let me (us) know and I (we) can whip up a quick tutorial.

I agree - I don't mind trying my hand at it either. Feel free to send me a PM and you could even email me the pic. I can't guarentee I can help - but I'll try !

One thing you have to remember, is a lot of photo retouching looks fine on a smaller photo, but once blown up, any incosistencies are that much bigger and much more noticable. I'm not saying that the photoshoppers on here don't have talent, but you need to be much more "random" with the clone tool and/or editing tools. If you can post what needs to be fixed, we can get a better idea of how likely it'll be to get a good 'fix'.

So as not to be "that guy" who is just a naysayer, let me at least contribute something...Here's a very helpful thread on another site I frequent that has some good tips for photo enlarging.

Thank you all very much!

I don't usually post photos here very much, I usually use photo bucket, and it scales them down. Is there another way I can post a full size here?

Mslaydbug-you're a doll! I'll be sending a pm now!! Please, if you dont' have time to work on it, don't. I know it takes time, and I really appreciate your offer!!
