Enjoying NYE with a large group

My whole Family is going to WDW for NYE (Dec 30 to Jan 6), 18 of us total. Ages ranging from 1 1/2 to 61. Which park is better to see fireworks: Epoct or MK? We don't think the kids will amke it to midnight so we are just hoping to see a good early show. I think Epcot has a show at 8 or 8:30. does MK have an early firewoerks display also or is the only on on NYE at midnight? Also any tips on how to make sure we a have a good time with a group this large? Thanks in advance for you help
