English Toffee No More!!

We were at Disneyland yesterday, and did not find my most favoritist candy in the world, Disneyland's English Toffee, at either Candy Palace or Trolley Treats. I buy it on every trip (usual multiple times!!!).

I tweeted today about the missing toffee, and DisneylandToday responded that it is no longer being sold!!!!! The response: "We currently no longer offer this item but our candy makers are thinking up new and exciting treats for our Guests." NOOOOOOOOO.

I think we need to start an online campaign to get it back!!

I am serious.

Write in to Guest Services. Let them know how much you love the toffee and why you are upset about this change. The more concrete feedback they get, the better. Sometimes enough comments can really make a difference.

So strange because we did the holiday tour today and the guide stated that English toffee and caramel apples are the most popular and widely sold holiday treats at DLR. Why advertise it if it's no longer available?!

That is my one favorite candy at the Disneyland Resort. I'm so sad to read this. I read another person's account that he was told that it's due to the almond shortage.

We just got back from Disneyland on Saturday. That is true we were also told they won't make it cause Disney can't find a grade perfect almond supply. So the head candy maker won't make it until they can find the almond supply they need

That's disappointing, but at least it sounds like it's something they're planning on bringing back once they're dealt with the supply issue.

The drought has reduced supply, and almonds have become more popular.

Years ago my go-to snack was milk chocolate almond bark - no longer there. We moved over to the toffee - which is amazing - so disappointing. who can really walk around eating a caramel apple?

You live in San Jose, so this would be a bit of a drive. But in the old ghost town/historical park of Columbia, they have a candy shop (Nelson's Candy Kitchen) that is second to none. And they make THE best english toffee according to my wife. I personally think they're chocolate malt balls are the best, but.... Anyway, should you ever head toward Yosemite, Columbia is just a few minutes outside of the town of Sonora. For this candy, it's worth the drive, which is about an hour from my house.
