England Phone booth phone number fun

Got this idea from the DVC board.

The phone numbers for the phone booths in England at the WS are:
(407) 827-9861, 9862 & 9863.

I've called the numbers a few times and have talked to people from Canada, Baton Rouge LA, New Mexico and Maryland. Some of the conversations have been awesome and a lot of fun for both of us. Try calling and see who you get to talk to.
Just a warning though, sometimes I've called the number and have gotten a weird fax screeching noise. Not sure what that's about, but it's really irritating.

When I'm at WDW (in a few weeks!) I want to call the phone booth from across the street and see who answers.

That would be hilarious.

This sort of reminds me when 'Who Wants to be A Millionaire' was an attraction over at Hollywood Studios. You could phone a complete stranger. They'd call the phone out on the street and the first person to answer was your stranger who tried to help you answer the question.

I haven't tried calling yet but will someday. I was lucky enough to be on the receiving end of a call Friday night. I was walking by when I heard the phone ring and decided to pick it up. We chatted for about 20 minutes before I passed the phone on to another person sitting nearby. Had I not been alone at the time, I probably wouldn't have talked so long. I'm glad I did though, it was a lot of fun.

awe just back this week... it would of been fun to call it when my bf was in there he would of thought now there is some Disney Magic
