DisneyKrazee, I for one am EXTREMELY offended by the above post and am letting you know that I have "reported" it. This Disboard is a pleasant place to visit and I do not think I am "speaking" out of turn if I say any comments that could upset people are not welcome.

Well, disneykrazee, at the risk of being accused of having the last word, I'd just like to say that (a) you can't spell "abrasive" or "apparent", (b) your g/f (what a lucky girl she is!!!) said in her post on 2nd Feb that you were 18, and (c) are you sure you're mature enough to be thinking about getting engaged???

DisneyKrazee - if you are "on your guard" when it comes to personal issues, then why did you ask a group of strangers about the best place to ask your girlfriend to marry you??? If that isn't personal then I don't know what is!

People on this board showed interest in your situation and tried to help you - but that's what I've come to expect from this board - people who are extremely friendly and helpul and I have never before seen any sort of argumentative or nasty comments here. Diberry is a regular on these boards and she's never upset anyone else; in fact she is usually one of the first people to help others with their questions about DLP.

The reason I love the disboards is that some other boards about DLP do tend to have some nasty and unnecessary comments on - I could direct you to these boards if you think you'd be more at home there?? Otherwise, as has already been suggested, please apologise to diberry and next time, tell people politely that you'd rather not discuss certain things - and they won't ask again.

I re read Diberry's posts in this thread to see if she had said anything that warranted such a nasty post from DisneyKrazee and concluded that she certainly had not. I too think that she deserves an apology.

First off, b/f means best friend, her best friend couldnt make it, so I am going instead to fill the booking.
Secondly I asked for advice on what you thinkas you have all been before, not to exactly tell me where/how to propose!
Thirdly, yes my girlfriend and I are lucky to be together (again none of your business) and I love her so leave her out of this.
BTW yes I am ready to get married even though that is REALLY none of your business (about my maturity!!/ready or not) .

Lastly, what I didnt ask for was to be interogated about how I had posted other threads saying I had visited DLP twice before or how old I am!!! I asked for help on disney castle not to be asked how old I am or if im "testing" you or how to spell things.

I don’t really want to prolong this unpleasant episode any more but I do feel it’s important to say again a VERY big thank you to everyone who posted messages on this board and/or sent me a PM in response to Disneykrazee’s personal comments about me. It was such an overwhelming response and made a HUGE difference to me. Without your reactions I know I would have blamed myself and felt absolutely dreadful, so thank you everyone of you who was kind enough to take the time to do that.
There are other message boards out there but they do seem to get very personal comments and criticisms, which is why I like this one so much because everyone is very friendly and supportive of each other – and , despite what Disneykrazee said, newcomers are always made to feel extremely welcome – as was he before he turned nasty. When you walk into a Disney park you get that great feeling where everyone’s happy and friendly and kind – we all know that’s not real life but it’s how we’d like life to be and I think this board demonstrates that ethos brilliantly.
So once again a huge thank you to everyone for being such great friends and showing true Disney spirit!!

I cant believe this thread- it all seems so unnecessary and not at all what I have come to love already (only joined yesterday!) about this board! Everyone seems very helpful, welcoming, friendly and I believe no one should judge others- as no-one here actually knows each other personally! Some people are so rude and aggressive !!
Everyone here on the DIS boards are like a family - in a good way-
helping each other and welcoming others! In my opinion - its great! So again A HUGE THANKS to you all for making me feel so welcome !

Wild Cherry, I joined these boards two years ago now and this is the ONLY time I have ever come across such an unpleasant post. There will always be "one bad apple that will upset the applecart", please don't let it put you off, we really are one big, helpful, happy Disney family!
