Thank you! No, it's not an antique, but the designer, Vancraeynest, still hand-stamps the gold. It's a small family-owned business in San Francisco, and all their pieces have a timeless quality to them with amazing details. My diamond really isn't very large (1/2 carat), but it looks larger because of the smaller intricate band.

My engagement ring was a very simple and beautiful solitaire but we had a horrible time finding a band to work with it. I was fortunate enough to find a gorgeous ring guard online that my engagement ring just kinda snapped in to and then had a jeweler basically make a custom wedding ring with it and it is now all welded as one unit.

Here is my engagement ring....

And here is what the set looked like after everything was completed. My DH's father gave him his wedding band, so I really wanted to incorporate yellow gold in with my ring.

Anyways here is my REAL ring, it is a pink sapphire with a diamond bezel and band. I love it, DF did a great job IMHO

There are so many gorgeous rings!
Here is my ring...I absolutely loooooove it! It has a high profile which definitely took getting used to and not many ppl have it. I kept hitting it on stuff You can kind of see it in the second pic. DF picked out the setting and the stone himself...I'm so proud of him!

DH picked it out with no input whatsoever from me. Ruby is my birthstone and he said the heart shape was "because we love each other". Corny, but oh so sentimental!

I love all the non-traditional rings here! Everyone always looks at me like I'm crazy when I say I want something different.

I really want a pearl ring. I think they are absolutely gorgeous.
