Engagement photos

Has anyone done these at WDW? What photographer did you use? Approximate costs?

Can you do a Magic Kindom type photoshoot for this? Like with the castle but in a sun dress or something?

Any recommendations? We have been engaged for about a year now, but we never got any photos, now we are thinking perhaps we should.

Any tips would be appreciated

We took our engagement photos with our wedding photographers, The Roots, at the Polynesian and Wilderness Lodge. It was included in our package, so I'm not sure of the price of just engagement photos. It was really fun, and we got some great shots.

To do them inside the park you have to use Disney photography - either through PhotoPass or by scheduling a $310 Honeymoon/Engagement Portrait Session through Disney Event Group Photography (407-827-5029). It takes place during regular operating hours. You get 20 4x6-inch prints in a leather-bound album and one 4x6-inch print of every image.

We did ours with Randy Chapman (also our wedding photographer) about 18months before the wedding. We shot them at the GF and the beach there...it was a LOT of fun!! I want to say it was aprox $150 and we got a TON of photos!
