Engagement Photo Session

My fiance and I are currently leaning toward having a home wedding and a big Disneymoon after... since we are likely NOT doing the actual wedding in Disney like we originally planned, we'd really like to get our engagement pictures done there if possible. We actually have a Disney trip planned for Jan 22nd and if at all possible I'd love to schedule a session for then. The trip was extremely last minute. Since I have so little time to find and book someone, I need help!!

1. Can anyone suggest any area photographers for me to call? I'd like to do the session for $200 or $300 including some prints, is that feasible?
2. Do the Disney photographers offer engagement photo sessions? I don't see anything on Disney's website but I thought they did, has that changed?

We just had our engagment session with Randy Chapman at the GF. We were going to do the Boardwalk too but it didn't work out. He can't shoot in the parks though. Check out his website for some sample pictures.

I spoke with Disney Photo., an engagement session is $310. Not sure what it includes, I wasn't looking for the package, just them to take photos of the engagement (which didn't work out).

I haven't been on the boards in a bit, but SOO good to see you and CONGRATS on the engagement!! YEA!! If you are interested in using DPS and/or have questions for the e-shoot either contact Karen Chandler or Lillian Lopez. Karen coordinates everything, but Lillian does the post production stuff so we worked with her on our albums, portraits, and such and she is just AWESOME (the pics ended up being too!)!! I would atleast drop either one a line b/c they will be able to go thru everything with you:

We did an E-shoot with Dean at DPS and he was awesome! Our pics came out great! For the $310 price you get all the proofs and a really great leather bound book with your fave pics in it. I was so happy we did this, HTH!

Randy! Randy! You will get great shots with him EVERY TIME, as Disney photogs are hit and miss. However, if you want shots in the parks, he won't be able to go in, you'll have to use Disney Photographers, and you won't be able to get a specific one, unless you get lucky and get the one you ask for.

Good luck! My Disney wedding was one of the best things I ever did. SO much fun, we are all still talking about it 3 months later!

We are using David and Vicki Arndt Photography for our parents vow renewal.
My boyfriend (not fiance' yet) & I had our pictures taken by David and Vicki at the Poly Beach and the GF.
One of our photos was on their website and I think they are adding some to their Facebook page.

No, they're not super expensive.
You can e-mail them through their website and Vicki will send you the prices and packages. She also said in an e-mail to us that if we didn't see a package that would fit our budget that they would customize a package for us.
You always get two photographers so it may be a little more expensive, but I didn't shop for any other photographers because I knew I wanted them.
I was MOH in a wedding they did and the album was stunning!
