Hi Everyone,

First, I want to apologize if this is too off topic. However, this seemed like the most likely place to get help regarding an engagement (unless there is an engagement board and I missed it:confused:).

I'm preparing to propose to my gf during our WDW vacation in Sept. I have read several reports of an "engagement" specialist that works at WDW, but also other reports that she no longer works with WDW. Does anyone have contact info and/or other resources that would help me plan a proposal?

I'm hoping to set up something at GF with during wishes and hopefully the glass slipper (from Cinderella's engagement package), and a photographer on site to take pics.

Any help would be wonderful. :goodvibes

Hmmm.... I've been around a while, and I've never heard of an "engagement specialist" at WDW. However, there's a number you can call at Cinderella's Royal Table to arrange an engagement package there. Call (407) 824-4477 or e-mail wdwcrtspecialevents@email.disney.com.

Oh wait! Unless they were talking about Gifts of a Lifetime, which is a service that plans scavenger hunts, will decorate your room while you're gone, and can help arrange surprises. Here's the link:

Good luck! :thumbsup2

I don't know if you booked your trip through an agent or what, but an AMAZING CM from Disney Travel helped my DH arrange everything.

I did book through an Disney. I guess the simple thing to do is to call and ask them.

Do you know exactly what they helped him with?

Yeah, they suggested several options for him like making it part of a show, etc. In the end, she got him in touch with the head of DL's Dream Team (we were in Cali for the engagement trip) who worked with my DH to arrange the actual proposal. They ended up having one of the Dream Team members approach us and say that as part of Disney's "Year of a Million Dreams" promotion that they wanted to make our night a very special one. Then they took us to the Storybook Land ride and they took us through the exit and allowed only us on one of the boats. The CM who guided the tour was in on it and stopped in the Cave of Magic Wonders and had us make a wish on the lamp. When we came out, she stopped the boat and said that she thought someone had wished for their true prince to come. That was then-BF's cue.

If you just call them and talk to one of the Travel CM's they should be able to help, but if not, they can probably suggest someone who can help.

Hope this helps you out a little!!! Good luck!!!
