Enforcing FastPass return times?

We were last at DLR in 4/13 - and it was our first visit where they had started enforcing return times for fast pass. Just checking that they are still doing this? Planning for our trip in 1/15! Thanks in advance!

I miss the good ol' times when you could go anytime after your return time. Now I never seem to make the window.

I don't expect that they will ever go back to the days of NOT enforcing the return times. I am not sure why they ever weren't enforced.

Ahh, the good old days. Sadly they are gone now. FP enforcement is here to stay I believe.

Yea. Disappointing.

When I was there 3 years ago I would get a fast pass at like 9am and might not return until 8 or 9 hours after the marked return time. No CMs ever said a word about it.

I don't even bother with Fast pass anymore because of this reason.

I returned within the window for the couple FPs I used last visit, but I'll tell ya what...it didn't really seem like the CM's even looked at what was written. They just grabbed it and dropped it in the box. Maybe they can just see it really quickly since they're seeing the passes all day every day, but I saw no obvious inspection. (Not trying to encourage anyone to try to cheat the system, just expressing my observation!)

Whenever I've used FPs, the first CM seemed to give it a quick once over and that would be enough to see if the time was valid. The second CM (the one that collects it) doesn't necessarily need to look at the time; they may, but I think they're there to make sure you have a FP. I think it's done this way because you can get in the FP line within your window, but you might reach the second CM within the window depending on when you get in line and if there is a line in the FP queue.

Thank merciful God, YES!!!!

I'm with you on this. Go to the park and grab the FP you're in the mood for.

As for time enforcement, I go both ways. I do miss being able to accumulate several FPs and being able to go over to that side of the park later in the days and use them. Then again, I hated using a Soarin' FP and finding the wait to be 20-30 minutes long. Not very Fast. Those days are done now, which I guess is a good thing.

I feared the fast pass time enforcement, but have to say, FP lines seem MUCH quicker now!

Agree! I love the FP enforcement because of this. In particular, Splash in the afternoon and Space at night.

On another note, we've been stopped twice - at Space and Indy - due to late return times. They were both ok, the ride was down during our return time and once we explained we were admitted. But we were definitely stopped, firmly, at the first checkpoint.
