NASA's next-to-last shuttle launch is expected to be pushed back to at least next Thursday -- and perhaps later -- when a new target date is set today for Endeavour's 25th and final flight.
Atlantis' move into the Vehicle Assembly Building to ready it for the program's final mission is being postponed until May 16.
NASA engineers on Thursday still were trying to pinpoint the root cause of the failure. They also were testing a spare box installed in Endeavour this week.
There were no preparations to pick up a second, three-day countdown on Saturday, and no firm plans for Endeavour's astronaut crew to return to KSC.
