We went the end of Sept last year...
it was humid and hot...about 90-92 most days with a shower here or there (and one HUGE drenching RIGHT at Fantasmic!) but the breeze was a lot nicer than it is here in Iowa and we never had that much of a problem with it!! We had a great time and LOW crowds!! Only used FP once for Soarin' other than that we never waited over 20 mins and mostly walked right on, including EMH at MK...It was great!! Also the fireworks are at 9 usually so you are not up TERRIBLY late waiting for that (Some might hate that fact but I am thinking it may be hard to stay up til 11 or later for the shows!!)
I promised to buy the misting fans this year for the kids...
We went the last week of Sept. last year and it was hot and humid during the middle part of the day but mornings and nights were good. It did drain us since we were going all day but it was so uncrowded that we could stay on a ride twice in a row if we wanted to. We did not have any rain but it normally rains for a while in the afternoons. We also missed any hurricanes or rain due to close by hurricanes. We are from N.C. about an hour from the coast and get effects from hurricanes every year so we were not too worried about that aspect. I would go that time again but next year we are going in Jan. for low crowds and cooler weather. I'll see which time I like better. Good Luck! Melissa
Maybe not quite as bad. Can still get 90 degrees and pretty sweaty though. But the evening's after dark are wonderful! We had rain a few days. Which was actually wonderful. It was still warm outside but the rain felt so good and cooled us off enough that we just kept going and going.
We went last Sept. and it was very hot and humid. I felt like the minute I walked out the door my clothes stuck to me and my makeup ran down my face. It was very uncomfortable after a while outside. We said we would never go back when it is hot because of our experiences in Sept.
