End of September planning help please! hotel discounts, things to do

Hi there!

We're suddenly planning an end of September trip. What do I need to do first? I'm mildly freaking out. Is there any place I can go to get a discounted rate for a Disney hotel at this late date?

I'm interested in the Happy Haunts Tour, but there aren't any dates available yet. Will that be coming soon or has the tour been canceled this year? (the website says it'll be held but the first date is 20 days away and no tickets are being sold.)

Are you a Costco member? You can book the discount package through them as well and get some perks.

Try GetAwayToday, I know right now they have reduced rates at the Grand Californian and the Disneyland Hotel for the last week of September. You may find it easier to find something at the end of September than the first of October, when the combo of a lot of school breaks and Halloween Time have a lot of the hotels booked up.
