End of August??

The one week we could go in June all the mods are booked!!! How about any time in august? What weeks? Is it to warm?

We go quite often the last couple of weeks in August. Yes, it's hot, but the crowds are a lot less than June.

the later in august the better
there are less crowds but it can be hot.
if you can go in Mid-Late Sept. the crowds are very low and it is a little cooler

It is so nice at the end of august have been going the last week since 2000 and we love it. It is warm, sometimes we need the fans, other times not, but it is really nice and no crowds!!!!!

Nicer in late August--IMHO cooler and lower crowds, but you're more likely to run into a hurricane.
