We are thinking of going either 23/24 April or 30 April/1 May for 14/15 nights. BA are coming in at £566 at the moment.

As it's after Easter and May is exam time , has anyone any experience of flight prices in previous years? We can't do last minute as we are going with family. They will fly from Glasgow and we will fly from Gatwick - just 2 adults.

Half of me wants to buy now and the other half keeps wondering about sale prices. Happy to go BA or Virgin.

BA have got a sale on at the moment so are those sale prices? To be honest, that price sounds pretty good to me - I would pay it! I know there are others who might hold out for longer, hoping for a lower price but I usually set a price in my head that I am happy to pay and will pay it if I find flights for that price or less.

We booked to fly out with Virgin on April 23rd maybe a week ago, a little longer maybe & paid £2.3K for 4 adults using miles & money. I think that's what ~£575 + some miles.

That seemed a pretty good deal for us. So they've already come down some. I think it was about £635 a person on BA when I last checked those dates.

We've gone around 4th May for the last couple of years and booked the same dates for 2015. I checked flight price for 2 adults Edinburgh/Gatwick/MCO booking now with sale prices and it's working out the same as last year, also sale prices, at £1266.

Once I hit a sale price for this year that I was happy with I phoned Disney and added the flights to the booking so I only had to pay £300 deposit with balance due at the usual Disney time.

Then, most importantly, I never checked flight prices again! :)

This didn't work out for us this year. I priced the flights up with VA & was quoted I think £2,600 for the 4 of us. When I phoned Disney to add the flights to our current booking they wanted £2,900 for the same flights. So we booked them ourselves, I am sure there was a reason but I didn't want to waste any more energy on flight searching. :hyper:

We paid £600 direct with Virgin from Manchester last April and looking for this April at the moment, cheapest I've found is £514 but pretty sure it's indirect with a long wait for connecting flight!

I think anything below £600 direct is good . Gor a lot of may VA are £563-583 m+m at the moment but our dates coming back are over £800. Probably to do with it being half term week but will monitor as we all do
