Enchanted Village at Jordans Furniture...okay, new englanders, were you there today?

of course you were! I think all of new england was there today! lol. we went and really had a fun time in spite of the hour plus wait to get in. I cannot get over how well behaved the kids were in that line. not just mine, but everyone around us. it was really heartwarming to see how well everyone just dealt with the crowds, and then when we finally got in, well, it was just...enchanting.

i had no idea that the Enchanted Village existed anymore.....my grandmother took us kids there in the mid 1960's.

did you go on the 4D polar express ride?

I would have loved to do the polar express ride, but we weren't so sure the kids would handle it. mine are pretty young (7, 5, 5) and they didn't seem too excited. I think by the time we were done they were hungry and getting tired. I would love to go back and try it out, though!

definitely worth going to the enchanted village, though, but if I were to do it over again I'd probably shoot for opening. maybe it was less crazy then!

We were there on Sunday and I have to say between two battles in the parking lot, a person parking so close to us that we couldn't get back in to our car on one side, the hour and a half wait and the backed up traffic on the highway to get home it was not worth it for us. The polar express ride is a 40" minimum too so remember the little ones might not be able to go.

we actually ended up parking in a different lot and walking a bit instead of waiting in traffic. it was BRUTAL. what time did you go? we were there at 4.

the kids would have made the height no problem for polar express. really wish we had at least tried it.
