Enchanted TIKI ROOM

We love the Tiki Room. Last time we went we had a weird experience. We sat next to a guy, that we could only assume was Autistic. He was chanting "Fritz, Pierre, Michael, Jose" the whole show and proceeded to repeat all of their wings span by bird breed. We felt bad for him but it has given us a weird memory of the Tiki Birds. And I will never forget their names!

Ok - I know alot of people (my entire family included) feel the Tiki Room is old, corny and silly (even under "New Management"), but I refuse to apologize for my attraction to it. I don't see many threads in here about the Tiki Room, so I started this one to show solidarity with the Birds!!

If you like the Room, please post so I can show my family I'm not the only one!

We did the Tiki Room for the first time this December on the 27th. Anyone who was there and can remember what a zoo it was would appreciate how short the line was for it and how nice it was to be able to do anything without a gazillion hour wait. This is one of my favorite memories, doing things we had never done before because they had little to no wait and finding that we really enjoyed them. I'm glad we were forced to try it out! Next up: Hall of Presidents!!! Wish us luck!

LOL, that reminds me-has anyone ever stayed til everyone clears out at the Tiki Room? About then, one of the birds (I forget which one) says "I'm tired. I think I'll go over to the Hall of Presidents and take a nap." I remember hearing he said that, so I stayed til everyone cleared out to see if he said it. Sure enough!
