I actually really like watching Illuminations from that location and the colors in those firework bursts are just lovely. I'm guessing its the Christmas version. Love it!

I really don't want this TR to come to end.

What a fantastic end to a last day and to a trip too! I am so glad that you were able to be reunited with Carrie and Riley one last time before going back home. and I also know that getting to see them again soon for the trip coming up will be an amazing reunion! I do really hope that you choose to write a TR for you trip even if it's not technically Disney....it has Disney loving people in it and that counts right?

It'll be hard to top Jenn, that's for sure. But you know I'm gonna try!! I was so touched when that text came in because I really did miss them. So it really was perfect. Only a couple days to go, so that made posting this a little easier. As of now, I do plan to do a mini report about this mini adventure, even if it's just one post... or many posts.

DAWWW I had a feeling Riley would bring you back. There are always more times you can see Wishes, but when a little girl asks for you, you GO!

That is so sweet of that little girl. She has more courtesy than many adults at WDW.

THAT LAST PICTURE. I'm tearing up. I really honestly am. I just love this community so much. To be able to have a memory like that with someone you had just met is what's so magical about Disney. Just. WOW.

Uh huh. It really wasn't even a question Courtney. And that is it exactly... As much as I love Wishes (and really you can't ever see it enough), I know I will see it again. A Lot. But the memory of that text, returning to Epcot, and that final moment will be with me forever.

It just seemed to fit.

I DID IT!!! I DID MEXICAN SMALL WORLD!!!

I was blown away by that. Really, so few would have noticed, but when you've seen all that I've seen, it just really stood out. Such a sweet thing to do.

Believe me, so did I. Given all the apprehension I had just 48 hours before just made that little moment so very special. The Magic of Disney is alive and well.

As others have said, Wishes! will be there for your next visit, but that night with Riley is one that you will remember for ever - and if you had skipped you would never have gotten back

It does sound like the perfect ending to an incredible visit! You will need to make it back soon to see Wishes a few more times so you are not Wishes-deficient! Maybe a fall trip to see Hallowishes!

I have to agree Elena. As much as I love Wishes (and I think I've made it pretty clear... I Love Wishes), even it couldn't top that moment.

That is so sweet that Riley wanted to see you one last time. What an impact you guys had on each other. No wishes...well, some things are well worth it!

That little girl that sat down so she would not be in the way...you go girl!! Manners are something that is sorely lacking in some people nowadays and she did awesome. parents! When we were at Disney last Christmas, my son opened the door and let us and a bunch of other people through. We just stepped aside and waited until everyone was in and then a man walked up to me and wanted to compliment me on my son's manners. I can't tell you how good that felt that someone noticed so I am really glad you were appreciative.

It sounds like y'all had a great time together once again. I am so happy that you guys found each other and I can't wait to hear about the trip y'all have planned! What an excellent way to end the nights in the parks.

It genuinely touched me so much. There's not a lot I would give up Wishes for. This was one.

Seriously so incredible to witness. To see that level of courtesy in a child, especially when considering her tiny stature, was so inspiring. What a great story about your son. I love hearing about things like that. It may sound small, but it's absolutely huge.

It was a perfect ending and perfect way to say goodbye. I was so disappointed we didn't get any pictures the night before, so it was so great to fix that.

OMG is it Friday yet?? I just need you to get here already!!! I swear you left a little piece of your heart behind that night and it now has a home in Ontario. Riley is going to be super happy as will I when we finally get to see you again.How have we survived? I honestly don't know.Also this is the only secret I've ever kept from her for this long.It's been so hard but is so worth it !!!we'll never forget that last trip and I don't think future trips will ever compare,unless of course you're there!!!Please just get here safe so we can squish your guts!!!!!Oh and I'll just say sorry now for how I'll look friday am because i know I won't get much sleep the night before I'll be too pumped!Awesome TR as always and obviously my fave one so far!

Almost. OMG Carrie, that is so sweet. Thankfully I have a lot of heart left to give. You'll never fully know how much that text and the whole evening meant to me. I can't believe the surprise has made it to this point and I am SO hopeful it all pays off. So nerve-racking. But I'm keeping my expectations low just in case, lol. I'm not sure how to even do a new trip now. And no worries. I'll be running on little sleep as well, so we can look harsh together.

What an awesome last day you had! It's wonderful that you were able to have another goodbye with Carrie and Riley!

Especially considering my expectations of the day were pretty low, it turned out to be incredibly wonderful Jessica. Having the chance to have a proper Goodbye was absolutely priceless.

Those last pictures are definitely worth melting for. Great way to end your trip and also thanks for the Voices recap. A must see for my family this Dec!!

I think they do, but this was the first time I photographed it, so I'm not totally sure. It only stays up briefly, but eventually comes back. I stopped to wait so I could get the picture.

Thank you Alexis. Yeah, giving up on Wishes is not an easy thing for me, especially not knowing when I would see it again. But this really was a no brainer and actually quite an easy decision. I really will never forget it.

It was so great and so unexpected too. But also such an easy decision to make. Who knew giving up Wishes would ever be that easy?

Disney really is the giant catalyst in it all. It's quite remarkable when you really think about it. Such a special place.
