I didn't know exactly where to post this but I figured the family board would be a good place :goodvibes

Anyway there is a hidden mickey in the movie Enchanted and I just had to share.

Actually there are 3 things I noticed:

1. This occurs when Robert brings Giselle to his office. When Robert comes out of his meeting with the bickering couple he goes to his assistant and asks her if she was able to make travel arrangements for Giselle. Listen closely to the background music...it's an instrumental version of Part of Your World from the Little Mermaid

2. In the second half of the movie, Robert takes Giselle and his daughter Morgan out to eat at an Italian restaurant. At one point you will see the neon sign displaying the name of the restuarant: Bella Notte. Bella Notte is the name of a song from Lady & The Tramp....the song that was sung to Lady and Tramp during their Italian meal.

3. Finally the hidden mickey. This occurs towards the end of the movie when Giselle and Edward are on their date. They are on the Brooklyn bridge (at least I think it's the Brooklyn bridge..) and Edward is wearing a green, foam Statue of Liberty visor/hat. At one point Edward will turn his head and you will get a close up view of the side of the visor. Near his ear there will be a classic 3 circle Mickey head on the side of the visor.

If you decide to go see the movie with your family, these could be some fun things to look for....just thought I'd share..

We watched it on Thanksgiving. We noticed the first two but missed the hidden mickey's. I guess we'll have to go see it again ;) .

I didn't see those, but I did see a hidden mickey in the martini glass. Several of the people who did voices for characters (Robbie Benton -the beast, the voice of Ariel, several others had cameos in the movie.) There was a post around Thanksgiving time with some of the details

there are a ton of hidden mickeys through the entire movie. The dress she makes from the drapes; flowers in the animated portion of the opening while singing... there was a news report somewhere that said even the biggest disney fans would have a hard time finding them all because there are so many.

I love that it makes fun of itself and disney repeatedly... and that there are so many elements of other movies. Way too much was put into that movie than we can list.

There's way more: if you listen closely as Giselle is talking to the old lady in the park, you can distinctly hear the old woman say (after Giselle gives her money) "Oh, thank you. This will feed the birds. Tuppence a bag" and the pidgeons are all cooing all around her feet. Classic Mary Poppins!

I unashamedly love, love, love this movie! what a "feel good" movie. If you haven't seen it yet, run to the theatre.

That would make sense since the actress that plays his assistant is the voice of the Ariel.

The man in the yellow suit during the big number in Central Park was a chimney sweep in Mary Poppins!

Ther are a ton in this movie.

When Gisselle and Pip are on the Window seat in her cottage, You can see The Beast's Rose under Glass as the camera pans across the room.

The Trolls "loincloth" is made from Belle and Snow White's work dresses.

The Troll is also wearing Ariel's shells as earrings

The last name of the divorcing couple is Banks - the family in Mary Poppins.

The name of Robert's lawfirm are the names of the songwriters for Snow White.

Rapunzel is being preformed in Central Park - an upcoming Disney film.

The Soap opera star is Paige O'Hara - Voice of Belle.

The music that underscores the soap opera is from Beauty and the beast.

The soap opera set is blt to look like the bandaging scene from Beauty and th Beast

The shot where the apple falls from Giselles hand is from Snow White.

The scene with Robert and Giselle in the boat in Central Park is reminiscent of Ariel and Eric.

There is a Belle costume hanging in the daughter's room when Giselle is telling her the Little Red Riding Hood Story.

There is also a Belle doll wearing sunglasses sitting in a chair in the beginning of the same scene.

The pregnant woman in the apartment when Robert is looking for Giselle is the voice of Pochantas

There's a bunch more too. No, I didn't find all these, they were posted on website somewhere.

I just think that it is hilarious that Jodi Benson was his assistant. We loved the movie!

I know this is an old thread, but does anyone have the link to the website that listed all the Hidden Mickeys in the movie?

I know the Blu-Ray is supposed to have a section on them, but we only have the DVD.

Thanks, if you can help!

Enchanted is a new family favorite at our house (seriously we have watched it at least 20 times!) Anyway I googled enchanted hidden mickeys and found this:

Wow! I Google'd it too, but I didn't near that many!

Thank you for doing that AND posting it here. I'm going to print them out!

Yeah!

Did anyone else see the Mickey head that the light made when Prince Edward was in his hotel room? It's on the headboard when he is sitting on the bed watching TV. DH thought I needed to take a break from dissing when I pointed that one out to him. :rotfl2: :rotfl: Don't know if it was done on purpose or not, though.

I don't know, but we're going to be watching the movie tonight, so I'll have to let you know!

I'm trying to get all the HMs down before we sit down to watch it again!

DH and I watched Enchanted on demand last night. I sat there with printouts from this thread and told him about the Hidden Disney things in the movie at the appropriate time. I was reading the one about the Hidden Mickey on Edward's Statue of Liberty headpiece and DH said, "you just missed it." So we backed it up so I could see it.

He's just amazed that there is so much Hidden Disney in the movie.

Thanks for bringing this post up again. I've never seen it.

I did catch some of those things in the movie but didn't know about others so it was good read. Now I'll have to watch it again. Even DH really likes this movie!
