I don't know how you get assigned it as your regular main dining room table (except perhaps to request it ahead of time), but they're up for grabs at lunch when EG is open!...

I've heard, and experienced, that concierge gets them. We had one, and it was disappointing. Small and cramped and it turned out I would rather look at them than sit at them.
We got one too, but didn't do anything special to get it. While kinda cool to sit there, I don't know that I loved it. It seemed kinda cramped, especially with all 4 of us, and all our plates, drinks, etc on the table. Well, my DH did almost always order 2 entrees though, LOL!
We received one ... we didn't request it and we definitely weren't sailing concierge. It was pretty neat though and my kids were super excited (actually, so was I ... LOL!).
We also received the booth on our very first cruise, the Dream and also were not concierge. We really enjoyed it and there was plenty of room for the 3 of us but I can imagine that with 4 it might start to feel a little tight. We also did not request it.
We had one of the booths on our last cruise and we were not concierge and were not celebrating anything. I think it is just luck of the draw - and only having 4 people or less.
I had called DCL to request it for the MDR's because my almost 2 year old wouldn't sit in a highchair since he was a year old. We request booths at restaurants. He also doesn't like booster seats.
We did NOT get the teacup booths during MDR's. Instead we really enjoyed EG for breakfast instead of the chaos of Cabanas. We eat breakfast early enough & got the request every time. By the way, we are a family of 4.
We have sailed the Dream 2x and on both cruises had table 75 --- yep, we had the booth too. As a family of four, we loved it. Interestingly, on our first cruise, we were not concierge. However, the second cruise we were concierge.
We had one on our cruise on the Fantasy and did nothing to request it. I did not like it and next time will request to NOT be seated there! It was cramped and uncomfortable (we are family of 4). I would rather be at a regular table for 4.
i was beginning to wonder if i was the only one who would not want one. i breath a sigh of relief when the server walks us past them. they look to confining to me.
