I checked into BargainPack to see what they were selling the Mickey paper clips for in response to another thread. I need to stop trying to be so helpful!

Of course Gayle isn't helpful. She doesn't even try to hide the cute stuff! She puts it right there on the Home page! That's just mean I tell ya!

Anyway, new stuff:

Sorry I find it soooo hard to resist the cute stuff. I try not to look too often.

I got that sewing machine from either ACM or Mikes at the end of July when they were on sale for $5. The first time I saw it I was tempted, but decided I'd never sew on paper anyway. Then I couldn't see spending $10 on it.

Anyway I really like it! I used it to sew a "pocket" on my sign-in page for my CJ. The only problem I had with it was that I wanted to sew close to the edge of the paper but it was harder to sew straight when I did that. I did much better sewing when a bit of paper shows to the right of the presser foot.

Another thing - I didn't use anything but my fingers to hold the 2 pieces of paper together...just like I don't pin my fabric. It did want to shift a little, so next time I'll pull off a segment of my CM tape & put it along the edge.

but got some clearance Americana border stickers 50 cents a piecefor my 3 Gettysburg albums (moms, nephews, and Mine) and a NY Yankees uniform set 4.99 for our trip to Cooperstown where my son had to buy a Yankees hat and jersey. Hubby and I are Indians fans Totally impressed by the shipping costs .....oh my....between this, my album purchase on Ebay and tomorrows trip to Hollos (cardstock by the pound store) my budget is blown for the next several months....
