Emu legs...did anybody else notice?

ROTFL. I heard the CM mention Emu and about died (inside or else DH would think I'd completely lost my marbles).

Smoked turkey does have a different taste than your traditional Thanksgiving turkey. Yes, it does taste similar to ham, from the smoking process. YUM! My MIL started using the smoked turkey a few years ago on TG, since then she won't buy it any other way.

I don't know when the emu/turkey leg joke first started on the Dis but it was joked about on rec.arts.disney.parks newsgroup as early as Dec. 1996 and has been a running joke since then. Maybe someone in the early days of RADP when it was still an AOL newsgroup can remember if it started even earlier than that. But with a google search on RADP, the 1996 reference was the earliest I could find.

Hmm, now that you mention it, I do remember it being mentioned
on the RADP group. It's been SO long since I have been there though....who needs to leave here?
