Empty Pirate Keys No Longer Give Credits

That about sums it up. The 100 credits is no longer given. So that means your win that gave you the key gives you a loss of 21 credits. Boo VMK. Making a win a loss? Sorry, I fail to see the magic there.

Ok I fail to see where the key coming up empty gives you a loss of 21 credits

I too am unhappy that the empty chest now gives no credits but it does not take away from the win which got you in the key in the first place.

Unless they changed it.. you do indeed get your credits when you win a key... it's just that, that pop up is replaced with the Key one..

It is sad that the 100 credits for empty is gone... but I still rather get empty than that darn salad magic!

you pay 21 credits each game and when you win you receive no less than 100 credits after 3 wins you have spent 63 credits and won(if you only win 100 credits each game)300 credits-63= 237 credits .... that is a minium I have never won under 180 per game, just an example at 300.

So how do you lose 2 credits much less 21???

Great, the only thing I ever win with the keys is an empty box. I call it my "Empty Box Magic Key."

I think I am the only person in VMK who has not won salad magic.

First of all, I thought it cost 2 credits to play not 21, I never pay much attention to that box, just click OK quickly so that I can get a new ship before game starts. Second of all, I had NO idea that you still get your credits when you win along with the key. that is so cool.

I still am not happy about them removing the 100 credits for empty afterall we get no credits for high scores which really BITES why does Fireworks get all the great credits!?!

It is really difficult to get on the high score board in PIRATES and that should have a reward. JMHO

This actually reminds me of something (sorry this is going a bit off topic)...does Fireworks give you anything anymore for getting on the high score board? After you get on there for the first time, that is.

Hey don't feel bad, I only make it if I'm able to make it if I play right when VMK opens.

I've gotten first place in fireworks several times (note, only when not playing against people who can get over 6000 points)...your credits are still as if you placed any lower...10% of total amount scored. The only thing I've gotten as a "bonus" was the gold pin after 10 1st place wins.

I did not have any clue you get credits when you get a key! I have played over a thousand pirate games and thought when you get the key, you don't get credits. This is why I said you lose 21 credits - you pay 21 to play and get nothing for the key. I stand corrected.

Good to know we get credits for the game, even though we dont get the message.

Still not happy about the empty magic not giving 100 credits anymore.

Regarding fireworks, the only bonus you get for coming in first place is after 10 first place wins. That prize is the gold fireworks remixed pin. I have never received anything more than the credits I have earned in game based off my points. When I did make it onto the high score board in the new game, I did not receive any bonus/ pdf type prize. I do wish they would at least go back to the old rewards system of pdf's and bonuses for the new fireworks game, but I digress. After all, mansion and pirates still get the bonuses after so many wins or loses. Why can't the fireworks players enjoy some bonuses too?
