Empty Nest Dining

This is going to be our first trip as empty nesters. We have owned DVC for 20 years. What would be your dining recommendations for 4 nights if staying at BLT (please not California Grill) Thank you

We did this trip last April.
We enjoyed Topolinos, Boathouse, and just eating whenever and wherever we wanted. Flexibility was what was best.

Depending on your tastes & how much you want to spend, we loved Monsieur Paul. It’s certainly not an every trip type of experience. But for a special celebration, it’s really amazing. We’ve only been there once but I look forward to going again in the next few trips. It is prix fixe with many course & takes at least 2 hours. The service was the best we’ve had anywhere.

We have been empty nesters for awhile now so here are some restaurants that we like in no particular order. Boathouse, Morimoto, Shula's, Kona Breakfast on our pool day, Le Cellier, Rose and Crown, La Hacienda, Via Napoli, '50 Prime Time, Flying Fish. Also, we have found that eating a bit later at 7:00pm-7:30pm allows for a sometimes quieter dining experience.

Jaleo! The food is INCREDIBLE and it is so fun picking out different tapas dishes and sharing them. If you enjoy adult beverages, their Sangria is wonderful, too.

Boathouse is wonderful, get a time near sunset and sit out on the deck. Other favorites for me are Boma, Art Smith's Homecomin, and Raglan Road.
