I was wondering where you all look for jobs on the web. I frequent a few websites and was wondering if there are more out there that I may not be aware of. I check Careerbuilder, Monster, Craigslist, local universities and local newspapers' websites.

Where else could I look? What are some good websites to ponder...and which ones should I stay away from. Thanks all.

Try www.indeed.com.

It searches ALL the other job serve sites. I got a photography gig off of it about two months ago. Worth a try!

Don't forget old fashioned cold calls / in person inquiries / word of mouth inquiries. A friend of mine just landed a good (for her) $25,000 by calling to see if they were hiring office help.

I know it is slim chance, but alot of times they will ask you to submit a resume for file, so at least you are on the radar.

clearedjobs.com - Website for people with government security clearances
careerbuilder.com- regular jobs
www.theladder.com - jobs earning $100,000
www.snagajob.com
www.usajobs.com - federal government jobs.

Don't forget just going to places ask if they is hiring. I have two job offers come to this week and I only only been out work 6 weeks. I fill out the application and owner hire me on-spot. He was looking for somebody for months because his little shop kept being over look. Does pay much no. Does it keep out the unemployment line yes.

Don't give up jobs is out there.
