Employee Discounts?

Hello,

Does anyone know if Disney employees get discounts on the purchase of DVC points? Should my son buy now or wait until August when he starts the Disneyworld College Program?

They always have gotten discounts in the past, but not sure if that is true now or not.

In the past full-time DVC employees received as much as 25% off.

I'm not sure the current rate is as good.

I'm not sure, what if any discount, non-full-time, non-permanent CMs get. A part-time seasonal employee may not be eligiable, or they may.

Any CMs out there care to comment?

In the past Disney employees did get discounts on DVC purchase. Disney changes things so often, that I'm not sure they still do. It might be worth it to wait though. Good luck

My DH works P/T for Disney..about 12/h week. He gets all the wonderful perks!

my sister is a cm in California and the deal I got for my purchase for SSR was ridiculous. I pretty much got 200pts for less than the price of 150pts with the F&F discount.

The CM needs to just fax over a copy of their ID and its all set

my sister is planning on working at WDW at the start of next school year when my youngest niece starts school. I will have to let her know . She is interested in eventually buying and I will tell her she should wait a little more for a better discount.
