I finally got to see this movie and I was laughing so hard I was crying!!! I love love loved it!!!

This movie brings back memories! My dh and I were in L.A. when this movie came out. We were taking some friends to see Hollywood Blvd, as they had never been there and wanted to see the Walk of Fame. We were walking along, and were nearing the El Capitan theater when we noticed it was all roped off, and it was obvious that there was a movie premier going on. It was the Emperors New Groove! Of course, we hung around to see if we could see anyone famous. A lady (who looked like security) started asking us friendly questions, and then walked away. She comes back a few minutes later, and asks us if we have time to see the movie. We were looking at her funny, like what - this movie? Long story short, she gave us tickets, and told us to walk over to the red carpet entrance and hand the man standing there are tickets. We thought it was some sort of joke, but the next thing we knew, we were walking down the red carpet, shoulder to shoulder with David Spade and a bunch of other celebrities! We were unbelievably excited! Inside the theater, it was nothing but celebrities and their kids. I went to the bathroom, and Madonna was inside with her daughter! I peed next to Madonna! How cool is that! Anyhow, we sat in the theater and watched the movie, and after it was over, Sting performed his songs. It was surreal! We tried to sneak into the afterparty, but no such luck. I still have my popcorn buckets and program - it was the coolest thing ever!
