Hi All, hope your all well :)

I know I've not been around for quite a while, but we've had no WDW fix this year and not sure we'll be having one next year, as much as we'd love one!!

DH has to have planned surgery next week, for removal of a cyst on his Pancreas (not sure what the cyst is) :sad1: and whilst he's under anaesthetic their also going to remove his spleen and gallbladder!!

Both my DH & I are trying to be so positive and try not to let each other know how worried we are, and the same with our 2 DD's (12 this week & 10), we've sat and explained to them what we think's going to happen, but unfortunately DH's pre-op isn't until the day before his planned surgery :rolleyes1

Just finding it hard to be positive this weekend, and feel quite low and sad :sad1:

Sorry for warbling on, thanks :grouphug:

 Oh Karen, what a worrying time for you all

:wizard::wizard: Good luck to your hubby with his op, I hope it goes well and that he won't need any further treatment :wizard::wizard:

 Sending you all lots and lots of hugs and pixie-dust xx

Oh karen, I'm so sorry to hear this. I've wondered about you a lot lately, especially approaching christmas, I always think about your DD's and their pantos.
It's so hard putting In a brave face with each other and for the children, I really hope everything goes well for your DH, I will be thinking of you. Come on here and rant all you want.xxx

Sending you tones of hugs:grouphug:
Hope everything goes ok and here is some pixie dust for you all pixiedust:

xxx

More hugs and pixie dust in hope everything goes okay for the operation  :wizard:

Sending you lots of best wishes for your DH op.

You know you could always make an appointment with your GP who would be more than happy to explain everything to you. It sounds like you've been left in the dark and this can often end up causing additional worries as an op like that is a worry in itself but to not have had everything explained is a bit poor.

Sending you lots of pixie dust :wizard:pixiedust:pixiedust::wizard:

sending you lots of :wizard::wizard: and :hug:

wishing you and your dh loadsof luck and PD.
i had my gallbladder removed last july, and although it was nothing compared to what your dh is going through, the relief of not being in pain 24/7 was worth the discomfort for a few weeks:hug:
i hope everything goes the way you want it too:grouphug:
tracy

THANKYOU, THANKYOU to each and everyone of you :grouphug::grouphug:

You'll never know what it means to me to be able to express how I feel on here, without being judged by people I know

DH and I are feeling slightly deflated at the moment and I suppose this is only natural, as life is hectic as it is for any working family ;) But hoping to have a great family day out to Alton Towers on Saturday just the 4 of us :thumbsup2

Both DH & I have GP app's this week, but hopefully we'll know exactly what's happening next Tues after his pre-op!!

Joanne, Our DD's have once again been successful in auditioning for the Panto, this will be our eldest's 4th consecutive Panto & our youngest's 2nd, we are both so proud of them princess:princess:

Love Karen xx
