Emo...it's an epidemic.

Everywhere I go, everywhere I look, this emo fashion is always right there. Why don't kids want their own look anymore? And why, of all things, does the look have to include guys in skin tight pants with hair cut diagonally across the face? I don't know, but I'm one for non-conformity.

I'm not much of a conformist, but being emo is really turning into how to conform now. Its soo much of a fad. and those pants seriously can't be that comfortable, guys.

i hate the emo style...guys wearing girl pants....WOW lame...they are girl pants for a reason...and the whole way emo kids act, hey guess what your life is not that bad quit complaining about it, what a stupid trend, i cant wait till its over

From what I understand "Emo" means being depressed and melancholy(normal feelings that non-"Emos" have been feeling since, oh I don't know, the beginning of time!).... I guess some teens think the pain of their 15 year old life runs so deeply they need to embody depression and melancholy-ness into their lifestyle. x__X

It is a very sad trend.

A few "emo" songs are good though... and taking "Emo Myspace pictures" is fun

Emo is of course a stereotype for people. If these emo people really feel depressed- is the way the are dressed really going to help them feel happy again? If all I wore was black white & red with crazy hair & tight jeans with something on my t-shirt about death or cutting myself I'd be dead my now.

It's a hideous trend, and I really don't like it. It's bad enough people feel depressed, but to wear your emotions on your sleeve scares me.

Personally i just want don't get it. . .There are some guys in my Drama class who have the whole skull, black and white striped shirts, tight pants, and funky black hair thing going on. . .But they're totally up-beat and funny! I think it's just the new punk style and the whole depressed thing is just an excuse to wear what they think looks cool.

I dont get emo, some styles are ok but when they wear eyeliner down past their noses, I draw the line.

But guys in tight pants is ok with me, cause all my friends who wear them are skater, not emo.

I was at Farmer Jack's the other day buying some food, and i had on a black american eagle shirt, jeans, and some black high-tops. Now I'm not emo or anything i just felt like wearing those clothes right then. I would have worn my other shoes, but they were somewhere in the mess that i call my room. So When I was there there was this older lady shopping with her middle aged daughter and the older lady said to her daughter quite loudly, "Look at that emo girl over there." and she was pointing at me. I was like huh? I am the farthest thing from emo, even all my friends said that.
