Cast: Me (Emma), 18; Lucy (sister), 15; Mum & Dad!
In the photos, I am the one wearing a long stripey scarf, and you can figure the rest out!

Note: I've had to put it in two parts because apparentely I have too many pictures!
Today we had to wake up at 7, which was not fun for anyone as we had seen the Stereophonics live the previous night, and didn't get to sleep until gone 2am! I myself only got about 4 hours sleep as I kept getting woken up by traffic noise and people coming back to the Travelodge at various hours!
We caught a taxi to Waterloo and were there for 8.30, by which time it was nearly time to check in. The queue was fairly long but once you are through there's a nice little complex where you can grab some breakfast, which we did, and headed for the Disney Express desk. By this point there were big DLP standees everywhere, and lots of kids bouncing around, and I got all emotional and a bit teary!
The Eurostar (standard class) is a bit cramped, I have to say, so we didn't really enjoy the journey, although there was a really adorable kid behind us that kept saying, "We're going to Disneyland!" at regular intervals.
There were more tears as we emerged from the station at about 1.45 and saw Disney Village in the distance. Everything seemed so much smaller than I remembered, but no less magical!
Okay, now the interesting stuff starts, so you can stop skipping over the boring stuff!
Of course, we went straight into the Disneyland park, having a good look at Walt Disney Studios as we went past. Having stuff to look at makes the walk there go much quicker. We spent a good 15 minutes walking down Main Street, just soaking everything in really. Ah, the music! It felt like we had never left. It's just wonderful at Christmas - or "wonderous" as they say in the Christmas parade! (Nooooooo, that song gets stuck in your head something chronic!), but it was REALLY crowded, and we really started to remember how rude some people are at Disneyland.
We took the route through the castle, stopping on the way to have our photo taken by a nice cast member who offered to do so.

By this time most of the intial obligatory photo-taking was out of the way!
We continued through Fantasyland, passing by a 35-minute queue for Pinocchio! When did people discover this ride?! It used to be one of Disneyland's best-kept secrets.

All the queues in Fantasyland looked enormous so we then walked up through Adventureland and over to Indiana Jones, which had a 75-minute queue.
It started to look unlikely that we'd get on any rides at all today!
After this we looked in the shops in Adventureland, before taking the little "shortcut" through to Frontierland, our favourite land. It was actually quite unpleasantly crowded here, to the point where you could barely move. Big Thunder Mountain inevitably had an enormous queue - 120 minutes, in fact! We popped in a couple of shops, and then saw something quite amusing outside the Lucky Nugget Saloon:

I don't really think they should have an assortment of "crudities" at a place where children go!
