EMM cancellation policy

I've booked an EMM morning for our upcoming trip (which I am SO excited about) but was wondering about the cancellation and refund policy. I was thinking I might want to know in case of heavy rain chances, sick kid, etc.

The phone CM told me it was the same as any dining reservation - must cancel by the night before to avoid cancellation fees and get a refund. But that lenient of a policy was NOT what I was expecting, and I know the phone CMs can be notoriously wrong. But at the same time, Disney does seem to be handling this as a dining reservation in every other way when booking. Basically, I can't decide if her answer was legit or not.

Anyone here know the policy? I looked all over the website and googled but couldn't find anything.

According to the EMM page on MDE:
Know Before You Go
Learn all you need to know about this special event—including where to check-in and when you can enter the park.

• Official check-in will take place near the far left turnstiles of the Main Entrance to Magic Kingdom park beginning at 7:30 AM.
• Guests who have purchased both regular theme park admission and special event entry will receive an event sticker for identification upon check-in.
• Starting at 7:45 AM, event Guests will be admitted into the park and guided into Fantasyland.
• The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and Peter Pan’s Flight are the only attractions that will be operational during this special event.
• From 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM, breakfast will be available at Pinocchio Village Haus.
• Around 9:00 AM, the theme park will open to Guests with regular Magic Kingdom admission tickets and event-only attraction access will end.
• Please note that regular theme park admission is required for this event, in addition to Disney Early Morning Magic admission.
• The number of Guests admitted to these events is limited. In addition, all reservations are non-refundable, non-transferrable and are only valid for admission during the special event date and hours.

Someone on here said when they booked it before they clicked confirmed it said that it was refundable within either 24 or 48 hours.

Oh, weird. It does say one-day cancellation policy before you confirm your reservation. Disney websites are just awesome.

Okay, how the heck did I miss that? I swear I scoured that page a few weeks back! Thank you!
I thought the phone CMs info sounded off. She didn't know offhand when I asked and seemed to look it up somewhere in her system (it was obvious she was reading it verbatim from something), but I couldnt convince myself that it would be as lenient as ADRs.

Non-refundable not necessarily means you can't cancel in advance. Non-refundable usually means that you can't get a refund if you don't show up.

Cancellation Policy, however, as it is stated in your confirmation email, clearly says that you will lose your deposit if you cancel less than 1 day prior.

Therefore, if you had to cancel, say 2 weeks before and they don't want to refund you... I'm sure they when you show your confirmation email, as it is clearly stated out in there.

What Is The EMM Cancellation Policy?

• There is a 1 day cancellation policy for EMM.
• The full price will be forfeited if a guest cancels within 1 day or no shows for the reservation.
• Note: There is language on Disney's EMM page that says "tickets are nonrefundable" - this is NOT accurate. If you go through the booking process and read the actual terms/conditions, it notes the 1 day cancellation policy.
