EMM and Park Opening Hours

I am going to assume any day that has Early Morning Magic the park where it takes place will open at 9am, in other words, there is no chance for an 8am opening? Having said that, how likely is it that any parks will have EMM during the week leading up to Easter? Looks likes as of now they aren't offering it during Christmas week and some other busier times like Sundays before MLK and Presidents day. I was hoping to take advantage of regular 8am openings at MK (we don't like doing EMH days at parks), and if it's offered, at HS, so want to avoid days that would have EMM if it's likely to happen. Right now it only goes through Feb. 26, so maybe they won't offer it throughout the March/April spring break period I'm thinking.

1. Correct.
2. Don't know. They can decide to do (or not do) anything at any time, regardless of past situations.
3. Maybe. Too early to know, for sure.

Thanks Robo! Yeah, I just looked on TP and they apparently had EMM at MK on Easter Sunday last year...there goes my theory that they "may not" do EMM on my planned MK day.

...Nevermind, that was Sunday before Easter Sunday. Which is the equivalent of the Sunday I am looking at for this year.

If that’s what TP says, it’s not accurate. There wasn’t a MK EMM on 4/1 in 2018.

Ahh, got it. My ‘guess’ (and it’s purely a guess) is that you will potentially see EMM that same Sunday before Easter week again this year. Disney just did a format change (and price increase) and has shown a tendency to schedule it more often in 2018 than prior years... so my guess is that continues. But... total speculation on my part.
