Ideally would like to take the older kids to ride BTMR/Splash a few times at 9am before making it back to Pinnochio Haus before 10am for breakfast.

If we finish off EMM with PPF and are ready to hit Frontierland when internal ropes drop from Fantasyland, what can we hope to accomplish without sprinting or too much stress. This will be on a Sunday in the 3rd week of April (two weeks after Easter).

Was thinking we could easily do BTMR x 2. BTMR and Splash Mountain ? a stretch, I know Splash is a bit longer and can take up to 20 min.

Or use the time more leasurely to do PFT, HM, iTSW together with whole family and FP+ BTMR/Splash later (but that would eat up two FPs which could otherwise be used for PoC/JC/other later in AM).

Advantage of FP+ later for BTMR and Splash would be we can also get child swap passes.

We could also do Princess Fairytale hall together as soon as it opens at 9am, but that would make getting over to BTMR and back for breakfast even tighter.

Thoughts from those have done it?

I’ve headed straight to BTMR a couple of times and then back-tracked from there - that’s my preferred strategy really. One time we did BTMR, HM, IASW, then breakfast... last time we just did BTMR & HM, then breakfast - although could have squeezed something else in there if I tried.

Have personally not done Splash, altough could have. My reasons for no Splash are 1) time suck (as you mentioned) and 2) didn’t want to be wet/damp that early/for breakfast.

I think if you’re going to do BTMR, I would recommend going right when able - don’t do anything else first. You likely can get in two rides if you so desire, but YMMV.

Hope that helps - have fun!

I’m glad you asked this because I was wondering the same thing. We have EMM tickets for our trip in January and I’m not sure how to best use our time from 9:00 to 9:45.

Quick question though, you mentioned that the advantage to having fast passes for BTMR and Splash was that you could get rider swap passes. Can you not use rider swap if you ride standby? We have two older kids and a toddler, so we plan to use rider swap on a few things and some of those would be done using the standby line. Just want to make sure that won’t mess up our plan to use rider swap.

You can get rider swap passes when entering the standby or FastPass lines.

For our EMM 9am plan, we just wouldn’t drag our 3 year old all the way across the park and back for the child swap pass. My wife will take him on Dumbo, Barnstormer, & Tea Cups during that time before we meet up at Pinnochio Haus for breakfast.
