Has anybody heard that Tropical Storm/Hurricane Emily has been spotted??? I am supposed to be married next Tuesday! Is this how my DD4 EMILY gets back at me for not having her come to DW with us?!?!!

I wouldn't worry (I know easy for me to say ) All the storms are named in advance. If Emily were that close, they would already be reporting it. Here's a thread with the names for the year and info about Emily off the coast of Africa

They are reporting it here in NY. They said it will hit the islands and PR as of right now. It is still only tropical storm 5 on the hurricane site but the news just said it was named. Keeping my fingers crossed!!

Here the link to the national hurricane center on Emily.....you're right, it's schedule to go over Puerto Rico on Friday. Lots can happen and WDW is rarely effected, last year was unusual.

My cousin was married last year during the hurricanes... The rain settled down just long enough for the ceremony and picked back up afterwards.. hopefully if it does hit while you are down there, you will have the same luck!!

My wedding is October and I tried to block out last years hurrican session, but already being up to a E storm in July is making me nervous.

The track that they showed for Emily had it going just south of FL this weekend. Good Luck on Tuesday I hope you have beautiful day!
